Why a WMS matters
From guesswork to scanned, validated stock
In a conventional warehouse it is hard to answer simple questions: when goods arrived, who received them, where they are and who moved them. easyTRACK WMS answers all of them at every stage.
Goods receiving
Without a WMS
Multiple shipments and batches arrive at once
Items only partly barcoded
Damage or short supply not reported straight away
With easyTRACK WMS
Download the PO to the handheld and scan at the dock
Capture serial, batch and expiry on receipt
Variances visible immediately
Put-away
Without a WMS
Empty shelves unknown
No shelf or bin IDs, so poor traceability
Handwritten locations never updated
With easyTRACK WMS
Dynamic storage allocation
Bin-level tracking with intelligent location codes
Location updated in real time
Picking & packing
Without a WMS
Wrong or look-alike items picked without checks
No arrival date, so no FIFO
Person-driven rather than system-driven
With easyTRACK WMS
Digital pick list on the handheld
Every pick validated against the order
FIFO / batch-based picking and shorter travel
Despatch
Without a WMS
Wrong consignment loaded on the truck
Missing address or content labels
No shipment validation
With easyTRACK WMS
Every item shipped is scanned and validated
GS1 SSCC pallet labels
Instant despatch summary

Barcode or RFID?
Barcode vs RFID warehouse management
We supply and support both, so the advice is about your operation, not what we happen to sell.
Barcode WMS
RFID WMS
How it reads
One item at a time, needs line of sight
Many items at once, no line of sight needed
Best for
Receiving, picking and despatch with item-level scanning
Fast stock counts, high-volume receiving and pallet or carton tracking
Labels
Low-cost printed labels
RFID tags or labels, higher cost per item
Things to check
Damaged or missing labels slow scanning
Read performance depends on packaging, metal or liquid content and tag placement, so we test on your goods
With easyTRACK
Fully supported
Fully supported in the same app
Start with barcode and move to RFID later, without changing your WMS.
Hardware
Software backed by validated Zebra hardware
We recommend devices already validated with easyTRACK, then confirm the final models after a site survey, because cold stores, freezers and outdoor yards need different hardware.

easyTRACK sits between your ERP and the warehouse floor. Orders and masters come in, validated stock movements go back, so your books always match the shelves.

easyTRACK solutions are used by more than 100 companies in the Middle East. Technowave works with leading retailers, government bodies, hospitals and industrial groups across the region.
A warehouse management system controls the movement and storage of stock inside a warehouse. With easyTRACK WMS, every receipt, put-away, pick, transfer and despatch is scanned on a handheld, so you always know what you have, where it is, and who moved it.
Who is easyTRACK WMS Lite designed for?
It is built for small and medium warehouses that need full control without the cost and complexity of an enterprise WMS: retailers, distributors, 3PLs, manufacturers and service businesses across the UAE and GCC.
Should I use barcode or RFID in my warehouse?
Most warehouses start with barcode because labels are inexpensive and the process is simple. RFID reads many items at once without line of sight, which makes stock counts and receiving much faster. easyTRACK handles both in one application, so you can start with barcode and add RFID later. RFID performance depends on packaging, metal or liquid content and tag placement, so we test on your goods first.
Does easyTRACK WMS integrate with my ERP?
Yes. easyTRACK works with any ERP. Items, stock, purchase orders and pick lists import by Excel as standard, and receiving and picking export in your ERP format. Direct API integration is available, and we have completed integrations with SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.
Which handheld devices does it run on?
Any Android-based PDT, PDA or handheld terminal. Version 2.4 was validated by the Zebra Global Enablement Center in October 2025 on Zebra TC22/TC27, TC53/TC58 and TC73/TC78 mobile computers and RFD40/RFD90 RFID sleds.
Is it cloud based or on-premise?
easyTRACK WMS Lite is cloud based, so there is no software CAPEX and our team can diagnose and support you remotely. If you are comparing deployment models, read our on-premise vs cloud WMS guide.
How long does implementation take?
A typical project takes around 8 weeks from order to go-live: system study, setup and labelling, pilot and user acceptance testing, training, then go-live. The exact schedule is confirmed after the system study.
Can I manage more than one warehouse?
Yes. One company licence covers multiple warehouses with unlimited desktop users, and stock moving between warehouses stays visible in an in-transit status until it is received.
Do you provide support outside the UAE?
Yes. Technowave has offices in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and India, and supports customers across the GCC. See our contact page for regional offices.
What warranty and support do you offer?
Software and hardware come with a 12-month warranty, including site visits and telephone support. After that, an optional annual maintenance contract (AMC) keeps your system supported.
